A Celebration of Community. The Coating Society of the Houston Area invites you to the 37th Annual Phil Mueller Memorial Painters Competition at the Pasadena Fairgrounds in Pasadena, Texas. Industrial painters from across the region will showcase their expertise in a high-stakes, skill-based contest judged by industry professionals. Come out to support the teams, enjoy great food, music, games, door prizes, and more. Free to attend and fun for the whole family! Date Saturday, March 21, 2026 Time 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Competition starts at 9:00 AM Location Pasadena Fairgrounds BBQ Pavilion 7902 Fairmont Pkwy. Pasadena, TX 77504 Admission Free To Attend Bring your family and friends! The Competition Teams of three—foreman, craftsman, and helper—will go head-to-head in a timed, skill-based industrial painting challenge. First place wins $1,200 and three free AMPP training courses. Paint, panels, and compressed air will be provided. Each team or sponsor supplies the remaining equipment. Entry is free.
